Tawny is the kind of person who has no problem socializing and jumping into any kind of situation if she knows it will be interesting. Her usual mood tends to be upbeat and always seeing the glass half full, meaning it takes quite a bit to anger her. Despite her friendly and outgoing nature Tawny usually prefers to have a select number of close friends instead of being friends with everyone.
Deadly Flaw: Leap before you think: Tawny has a horrible habit of jumping in headfirst to any situation without even considering the consequences or formulating a plan; or as she prefers "planning as you go"

Emotional: Normally capable to remain at ease under stressful situations, when Tawny snaps, she snaps. Her judgment becomes clouded and she tends to lash out viciously. When she snaps she also tends to hyper-focus onto one thing only, a serious problem if others are involved.

Background:
As a young installation artist/sculptor Margaret struggled for a while to make ends meet and get her work out there. However, her creativity and effort did catch the attention of a certain Greek God. After Hephaestus's aid and affection, a baby girl with a fiery tuft of hair was born and joined the Smith family. Several years later Margaret married Kenneth, a kind man who did his best to be a father figure for Tawny despite his struggle to understand the energetic demigod.

Tawny had lived a rather peaceful life as a young demigod until she turned around 10; the only trouble that came in her families way was because of her shenanigans. After her 10 birthday Tawny had began to attract attention from a pair of monsters that were disguised as two exchange students living nearby. Luckily enough for the young demigod, a satyr named Umar had also discovered her before the monsters could single her out for an attack. It didn't take much to convince Tawny of what she was and about the camp. Instead she was rather excited about all of this and eager to see Camp Half-blood.

The journey to the camp was not the easiest due to Tawny's knack for wandering away and seeking out trouble that would slow them down by a day or so, but they finally made it to the camp unharmed. After three months she was claimed and moved into Cabin Nine where she was more than happy to learn and keep her siblings busy. However, after turning 15 there was a family emergency and she had go back to her mother who soon moved them to England for her step-father's job and to avoid monsters.

After graduating, Tawny began searching for colleges and careers back in America and moved back with a few friends. As they reached New York, Tawny realized how little training she had and how much danger she would be in. As soon as her friends had moved into their schools Tawny went on a journey back to Camp Half Blood.
